Head out on foot

Walking is a great way to explore the bush with your senses all alert. Learn to tell the difference between lion and leopard tracks. Identify animals by their droppings, walk along a river bank watching hippos and animals coming down to drink. There is something interesting every few steps. Your guide will teach you bushcraft

Vehicle Safaris

Vehicles are the best way to see the most animals. This way you do not disturb them as they think you're another animal – on wheels. Some countries have open vehicles, and some have enclosed vehicles with big windows and a roof hatch

We usually arrange for a family to have your own private guide at each safari lodge. This gives you complete flexibility in what you do and when, and you can build a relationship with your guide over several days.
